Boise Art Museum is pleased to announce BAM’s New U.S. Citizens Membership Program. This new initiative provides free, one-year, family-level memberships to newly naturalized U.S. citizens living in Idaho within one year of naturalization. By inviting new U.S. citizens to become members of the Museum and welcoming participation, we diversify our society and create a space to gather, to make connections to people with similar interests and values, to develop a deeper sense of self and community, and to bridge perceived divides across cultures.

Sara Joyce artwork donation to the Boise Art Museum

Boise Art Museum is pleased to announce a donation from the Family of Artist Sara Joyce of three artworks by the Idaho artist. The gift includes the following works: Ladder, ceramic; Mamie, mixed media sculpture; and Excavation, oil on canvas. Joining a robust Northwest collection at the Boise Art Museum, these three works represent, through a variety of aesthetic forms and media, Joyce’s creative achievement as an artist. This addition also strengthens BAM’s holdings of Idaho art.
Read More >>The Getty Leadership Institute (GLI) at Claremont Graduate University (CGU) has announced that Melanie Fales, Boise Art Museum’s Executive Director/CEO, is among the selection of museum leaders from throughout the world who will participate in its 2018 Executive Education Program for Museum Leaders.
Fales will be part of a 37-member cohort of participants from the United States and ten other countries representing Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America.
