Schedule Your Visit
If you would like to schedule your visit in advance and expedite the admissions process, you may pre-purchase your tickets online (including members and individuals who receive free admission). We request that you schedule your visit at least 2 hours in advance of your visit.
No Gum, Food, or Drink
Please leave gum, food, and drink at home or in your vehicle, or discard before entering the Museum. You can have a picnic in the public park or visit nearby restaurants downtown.
Bags, Backpacks, and Strollers
Please leave your bags, backpacks, large strollers, and personal items at home or in your vehicle, or ask about BAM’s self-serve lockers. Child carriers can be worn on your chest. You can borrow smaller strollers from Associates at the admissions counter.
Keep a Safe Distance
Please don’t touch the artwork. Keep a distance of at least one foot. You can help BAM keep artwork safe by not touching artwork or leaning on walls and cases.
Photographs & Cell Phones
Photography of any kind is not allowed in the Museum. Please put away your camera and silence your cell phone. You can take important calls outside the entry or in the Sculpture Garden. You can use your cell phone to access BAM’s audio guides.
Pencils Only
Please use only pencils when taking notes and sketching. You can borrow clipboards and pencils from staff at the admissions counter. Folding stools are available throughout the Museum.
Young Visitors
Please accompany children at all times so you can enjoy your visit together and help them follow the Museum Manners.

Welcome to the Boise Art Museum (BAM)! BAM is committed to accessibility and inclusion. We believe that exhibitions designed with the needs of people with disabilities enrich the experiences of all visitors.
BAM has designated accessible parking and an accessible entrance located at the front of the Museum. Wheelchairs are available free of charge, on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Museum is equipped with an accessible drinking fountain, and public restrooms each have an accessible stall.

QR codes can be found near each exhibition’s entrance that provide:
- audio guides of all artwork labels and wall text

Julia Davis Park – FREE public parking
BAM is located in Julia Davis Park. Free public parking is located throughout the park and is limited to 2-hour parking once per day, year-round, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. -5 p.m. BAM visitors may request an extended parking pass at the admissions counter, if needed. During busy summer months, finding a parking spot in Julia Davis Park can be difficult. Here are some nearby parking options:

No weapons are permitted in the Museum.
Pets
Pets are not permitted inside the Museum.
Conduct
Boise Art Museum is committed to the principles of welcoming, sharing, and respect for all. The Museum reserves the right to refuse admission to or eject any person whose conduct the Museum deems to be disorderly or abusive or who fails to comply with these or other Museum rules.
