Thank you for your patience as we respond to current changes to local and national government guidelines and begin to reintroduce amenities and programs as we all recover and rebuild together. You will notice:
- One-way entry and exit into and out of the building;
- Protective plastic shields at admission and the BAM Store;
- Self-swiping credit card machines;
- Signage about hand washing in the restrooms;
- No-touch hand sanitizer stations;
- Recycling bins for you to leave your handouts behind, if you do not want to take them with you.
You also will notice the following temporary measures:
- Touchable samples have been removed;
- Touchable activities have been removed from the ARTexperience Gallery;
- Pencils have been removed near comment books. You may still leave a comment by writing with your own implement.
How BAM is Contributing
To the Economy and Society
BAM is committed to keeping staff employed as long as possible. We do not want to exacerbate the economic, unemployment, and financial difficulties our country is facing by laying off staff or eliminating jobs. BAM also offers free and reduced admission to make sure everyone has access to the human endeavor of art.
To Education
BAM is creating and providing digital content and resources through our website and social media channels. We are also supporting teachers, parents, and students with educational learning materials while they are teaching and learning from home.
Gratitude
We are grateful for your continued support, now more than ever. We remain committed to fulfilling our mission for the benefit of our community so we can strengthen each other during these uncertain times. Your participation and support will make it possible for us to endure and thrive together. We look forward to welcoming you back to BAM!
