Art Camps for Children

BAM’s studio art programs encourage the creative abilities of all participants by offering experiences in a variety of art media. Campers will spend time with original artwork and make their own projects in the studios every day. All activities are inspired by BAM’s current exhibitions and instructed by professional Art Educators and Artists. Group sizes are small for individualized attention and safety. Pre-registration required.

Please bring campers dressed for messy and outdoor activities. Bring a packed lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, and hat. A Medical Information Form for each student will be mailed when the registration is received. The student may attend only after the Medical Information Form has been completed, signed, and returned to BAM. Children are required to be checked in and out of classes and camps at BAM by a parent or guardian each day.

BAM’s studio art program encourages the creative abilities of all participants by offering experiences in a variety of art media which provide opportunities for making connections with BAM’s exhibitions. Through reputable artists and educators, we provide quality instruction for all ages in a small-class, non-competitive and enjoyable atmosphere.  Class size is limited to optimize learning.  Participants must pre-register to reserve a space as class size is limited.  Please dress for mess!

Boise Art Museum was thrilled to introduce this new program for adults ages 55 and better. Our first series of workshops ran from September 2023 to April 2024.
