Gifts to the Endowment
The Endowment Fund of the Boise Art Museum was established in 1982 to help sustain the organization in perpetuity. Gifts to the Endowment Fund support the Museum’s artistic and financial vitality into the future. A donation to the Endowment Fund may be made at any time, and in any amount. To leave a lasting legacy by making a contribution to BAM’s Endowment Fund, please contact Melanie Fales, Executive Director, 208-345-8330 ext. 111. Named Endowments Named endowments within BAM’s Endowment Fund provide an opportunity for donors to support areas of the Museum’s services that are of personal interest. Named endowments also are a meaningful way to honor and recognize a donor or loved one. A named endowment within BAM’s Endowment Fund may be created with a $250,000 minimum contribution. The Museum accepts contributions to create both unrestricted and restricted named endowments. Restricted named endowments support specific areas of BAM’s operations, and include the following options:
An endowed fund provides support for the Museum’s exhibitions in perpetuity, ensuring that BAM will always present exceptional exhibitions for the benefit of the community.
An education endowment provides BAM with the flexibility to create and present engaging art education programs serving people of all ages, interests, and abilities.
Last support from an endowment helps the Museum add important artworks to its Permanent Collection, benefiting current and future visitors.
An endowed building fund helps BAM maintain a safe, secure and attractive facility. The Museum’s building is the foundation for BAM’s important work in the community, providing the gallery spaces, education studios, art vault and storage space that make our exhibitions, education programs, and collecting activities possible.
