Folk Art: The Drew and Katie Gibson Collection

The Drew and Katie Gibson collection of folk, naïve, outsider, and visionary art is broad-based, with colorful objects that reflect their wide-ranging tastes and interests. The Gibsons built their collection adventurously and independently, with a deep passion for art and a belief in supporting the work of living artists. The works on view ̶ ̶ including both historical and contemporary examples ̶ ̶ have been part of their daily lives and daily pleasures. The Museum is grateful to the Gibsons for the gifts and loans that make this exhibition possible.
