Boise Art Museum seeks a Sales and Admissions Attendant to assist Museum visitors including those who are paying for admissions, memberships, event tickets, class fees and Museum Store merchandise. This is a part-time position ranging from 20 to 25 hours per week and regularly includes weekends as well as evening events throughout the year. Requires a willingness to be flexible with the shift schedule to accommodate the organization’s needs.
Minimum Qualifications
1 – 2 years of customer service experience, retail and cash handling. Effectively able to communicate information to visitors and staff; able to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions. High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Boise Art Museum’s Visitor Services Associates support the mission and safety of the Museum by sharing wayfinding information and ensuring the safety of the artwork and visitors. Visitor Services Associates help provide positive experiences for visitors of all ages and enforce rules of conduct through direct communication with visitors based on pre-established visitor protocols and policies.
This is a part-time position requiring ongoing shift availability of a minimum of 20 hours per week (approximately 4-5 shifts). VSAs must be available to work a minimum 4-hour shift between 9:00am and 5:00pm all days except Mondays. Sunday availability required is 11:30-5:30.
