Join local artist Lisa Cheney for a day of bookmaking inspired by the exhibition, Unbound: Books as Art. Lisa will teach you how to make your own hand-bound sketchbook/journal from single sheets of paper or heavy boards. This bookbinding technique is unique in that there is no need to fold and trim papers to make a signature. Participants will create practice books and a final larger book. Supplies provided—students are welcome to bring personal tools and materials.
