The mission of the Collectors Forum is to assist Boise Art Museum in the acquisition of Northwest art for the development of its permanent collection.

Collectors Forum members contribute $350 to the Museum annually for art acquisitions, plus a $200 ($100 per single membership) program fee, and must also be current BAM members at the Contributing $250 category or above, for a minimum total annual contribution of $800 per couple ($700 per single).

Collectors Forum is an independent support group dedicated to assisting the Museum in the development of its Permanent Collection. Collectors Forum provides opportunities for its members to learn about the exciting and ever-changing world of art, meet new friends, and travel to museums, galleries, artists' studios, and collectors' homes throughout the country. Programs Include:

• An annual meeting at which Collectors Forum members vote on Northwest art to purchase for BAM’s Permanent Collection.
• A special Holiday Party for members.
• Educational presentations and discussions with prominent artists and art professionals.
• Travel adventures annually to places like Amsterdam, Chicago, Montreal, New York City, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Santa Fe.
• Each summer a long weekend art excursion to a Northwest destination.
• Recognition in the Museum’s lobby area.
